Automatic redirection to Twitter.com after sending Tweet
After submitting a Tweet, I'd luck the current webpage to automatically refresh to Twitter.com.
You could make this a stored user preference if there was a risk of some users not wanting this behaviour.

Use a sexy modal window instead of an alert
Use something a little more appealing than just alert such as Fancybox.

Focus automatically jumpt to text entry field
As soon as I select the Twitlet bookmarklet, I'd like to be able to start typing without first manually selecting the text entry field. I'd like the focus to jump to that field automatically.
Again, outstanding work with this neat tool.
Status: under reviewIn my browser, Safari, text box is behaving exactly the way you want it to be. I guess this is a browser issue and technically it may not be possible to force it to have this functionality.

Enter status message directly in the address bar
What about a allowing to type "twitlet Status message" directly from the address bar, like with keyword searches?
Popup only if Status is omitted.Status: under reviewThis would be fantastic! Would you contribute to implement this feature?

JS prompt too limiting, why not use a form with layer popup?
This would be much easier and allow for much more customisation, including counting letters.

Put a limit on typing after 140 chars
I see that the tweet gets truncated if char count exceeds 140. Is there a way to let us know that the 140 count has reached? Can something like blinking the dialog box be done if this limit is reached? or use a down-counter display at the bottom like on twitter?
Status: under review(nature of) JS prompts doesn't let you have much control on what you type in them however it is still possible to check whether it exceeds 140 chars or not right after you submit your entry. But what to do next if it exceeds the limit? Would you like to edit your entry in the text box?

Twitlet ignores manually-pasted short URLs from other sites.
I tried to paste a URL from http://tinyurl.com and Twitlet posted my tweet, minus the URL. In one case, it even converted it to a different URL and inserted that instead. Why?
Status: plannedhmmm i think i know what you're talking about. you've found a bug :) will be fixed soon. thank you!

Post Page Title and Link Automatically
Hello, guys,
This is a feature I've actually gotten working myself by tweaking Twitlet's bookmarklet JavaScript code.
If you know Safari140, you should know what I'm talking about. It is a Safari for Mac plugin that enters in the page title and URL of the current page in your browser into the t... more
Hi Alexis, Feel free to post your version here. Unfortunately I've been very busy with other projects in my life and i hardly find time to make Twitlet better lately. I am lately thinking about releasing source code to public under an appropriate licence. Would you be interested in participating in such open source action?

preview the tweet before it posts
Allow us to preview the tweet before it posts, so we have the chance to correct any misuse of twitlet # commands or other misspellings, etc.

Add the link title easily.
I think you should make #title paste in the title of the current page. I love the bookmarklet but I think this is would be very useful.
